How To Control Body Acne

Acne is a trait you can be stuck facing for life, or be blessed to never have to encounter it ever. There are actually more people that suffer from it than those who are lucky enough to not ever have to deal with it. Body acne is not something new, it has been around for ages and there are less things you can do to treat it than the available products that are out there for acne on the face alone. I'm not exactly sure as to why but, the major skin care companies do not make money on the millions of people suffering from body acne each day. They create millions of products for faces with acne, but when it comes to acne developing anywhere else on the body you may have to really look to find products that truly work. To start treating acne that develops on areas not on the face you must have the knowledge as to why it is developing there. Often, acne that is not on your face can develop on the shoulder and back sections of the body which means you have a just a couple of reasons as to locating why it is forming. Acne can develop on the back and shoulder areas on women typically due to having oily skin and also as a result of having long hair that rests on the shoulders and back. To stop this from developing, you must break the trend by sweeping long hair up as often as possible to not allow it to hang over those patches of the skin. Also, you will want to cleanse those areas where the acne is present with a mild soap or one that is made just for stopping breakouts. Try to avoid any chemicals that can clog your pores on those areas as that will begin to develop more blemishes as well. Those chemicals could be in the form of hair care, lotions, oils, makeup and any spray tan chemicals as they all can be avoided to help acne prone skin clear up. For the males that have body acne, it is generally caused from lots of sweating and not cleaning their skin as much as it may need done. The aforementioned are just a few basic tips on treating body acne to try to help your skin. In the event they do not help your condition at all, you may have to get the help of a dermatologist locally who can give your prescription creams and antibiotics to stop your body acne rather quickly and give you back the skin you were born with. It takes time and patience, it didn't form there overnight and it will not totally heal overnight either. It can be treated though, and drinking water will also help in keeping clear skin for years to come.
