5 Helpful Hints To Steer Clear of Aging Skin

Having beautiful skin is a trait that can be obtained by anyone. When you hit your thirties, you may begin noticing a few things that can define that your youthful skin can be fading. The great thing is, there are several things you can do to avoid the aging process and slow it down to have beautiful skin.

Here are 5 Tips to Steer Clear of Aging Skin:

1: The sun is not your friend. Laying out and enjoying the warm sunshine is one of the most relaxing pleasures you can find. It is also something that can potentially be very dangerous. If you play in the sunshine while wearing sunscreen, then odds are you are going to be able to maintain nice looking skin without getting lots of wrinkles. Even when you will only be outside walking for small amounts of time, it is always best to wear a light coating of sunscreen to avoid any aging.

2: Water. The entire body requires water on a regular basis, and in some cases without enough of it the skin can begin to suffer as a result of it. Dehydration of the skin can cause wrinkles and extreme dry skin. Make sure you are having a few glasses of water each day to ensure that your skin is well hydrated.

3: Foods, and the ones that you do not get from a drive through window are best for your skin. Green leafy ones, all vegetables and fruits can be excellent sources for vitamins the body needs. Your skin needs good foods that are not greasy or fatty to help keep it blemish free and also wrinkle free. For example, some dermatologists can tell just by looking at your face for a brief minute or two that you consume too much cheese or dairy products by the size of your pores! Eat naturally as much as possible and always get in a few servings of fruits and vegetables each day.

4: Rest. If you do not sleep enough, your body will show it. The first thing that goes is unfortunately your skin. It needs enough sleep to maintain its density and natural glow. Get at least six hours per night if possible to stay youthful!

5: Over the counter products. One could spend hours each day just walking through the skin care aisle in the local shop. There you should seek the products that have anti-aging materials in them and use them carefully. Do not overdo the anti aging creams as many women have found in doing so they can develop oily skin or even blemishes as a result of it. Use them sparingly at first until you have seen the results of it on your skin.

  1. Many health food stores, especially the larger ones carry anti-aging products that only contain all-natural ingredients. I like to shop at Earth Fare--definitely on the more expensive side, but worth the extra cost.

  2. I would say number one thing is to protect your skin too. Even if you are a woman of color like me. I use 50 sunscreen. I am brown and I don't want to get literally black looking.

  3. Also, if you are a smoker, stop now! You may be young and not be thinking about the effects on your skin, especially face. But believe me it will make you look older and definitely have more wrinkles.
